In our society today they are considered to play a major role when it comes to our home decor, so it’s no surprise that the selling and distributing of candles now stands as a three billion dollar industry and has no signs of slowing down anytime soon. Even in these times of economical hardship the candles home business is expanding and moving forward in to the future. Candles generally sell themselves if they look and smell good. They can be used in a variety of situations and to represent a variety of occasions. We use candles as a representation of age when celebrating birthdays. We use them as a necessity in a power cut. We bring them out to set the mood for romantic evenings in. We also use them as a form of room fragrance when they are scented. The list goes on but basically most of us love products that beautify the home in a simple yet elegant way, which is certainly the achievement of candles. As a continually growing business there are usually always more opportunities opening up for new distributors; but what exactly does this job mean for you? Well for a start, even though you are supplying on behalf of an established company you are working independently and generating individual sales. If you are thinking about getting involved in candle distribution then just make sure you do a bit of research into what is involved and what to expect. In most cases you will be selling candles to family, friends and co-workers; then going further afield to schools, churches, hospitals, physician offices and insurance agents etc but remember you will be running your own business so you won’t have any set hours; you will have to set your own as well as your goals so it is important that you are motivated. There is a lot to consider before committing but if you feel this is for you then becoming a candle distributor can be thoroughly rewarding both in a financial sense as well as a personal sense.
